On Saturday, June 22nd, the Greater Wilmington Area PCC held its first Networking Tailgate Event at Legion Stadium in Wilmington, NC. After a BBQ dinner of pork, chicken, coleslaw, mac n cheese, beans and more, the participants enjoyed a double-header baseball game; Wilmington Sharks vs. Morehead City Marlins.

The Wilmington Sharks are members of the new and revived Coastal Plain collegiate summer league, featuring top-notched college players from across the nation.

Participants received a free Sharks Beach towel, courtesy of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. In addition, business cards were submitted for a free raffle to win a donated USPS Commemorative Framed Sharks Art Work.

The evening was a successful community outreach and networking event, and will now be dubbed “Annual”.
