WASHINGTON – The U.S. Postal Service today announced its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Apr. 1, 2026 - Jun. 30, 2026). Controllable loss, which excludes certain expenses that are not controllable by management, was $1.0 billion for the quarter, compared to controllable loss of $1.6 billion for the same quarter last year.
RUTHERFORDTON, NC — The U.S. Postal Service plans to host a job fair to fill immediate openings for full- and part-time positions. To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be available to provide detailed information and answer questions about open positions.
HARMONY, NC — The U.S. Postal Service plans to relocate the Harmony Post Office, located at 3348 Harmony Hwy., to a yet-to-be-determined location within a one-mile radius of the current site that is suitable to our operational needs.
